Intro to College Savings - Lesson 3

Shop for a plan Lesson 2 discussed the various investment vehicles you can use to save for college, including 529 college savings plans, 529 prepaid tuition plans, Coverdell education savings accounts, U.S. savings bonds, and fully taxable investment accounts. Assuming you have decided to invest with a 529 college savings plan, the next step is to choose the 529 college savings plan you wish to use. In-state versus out-of-state 529 plan Your choices consist of the 529 college savings plan offered by your own state (only the states of Wyoming and Washington have no 529 savings plans) along with the 529 college savings plans offered by the more than three dozen states that welcome non-residents into their plans. It is important to realize that you are not forced to stick with your own stateï ¿ ½s plan, and that your selection will in most cases have no impact on where your child attends college. Statistics reveal that most parents decide to use their own stateï ¿ ½s 529 planï ¿ ½and with good reason. After all, no state is more interested in your familyï ¿ ½s education than your own state. In addition, most states attach special benefits to their 529 plans as an incentive for residents to use the in-state plan. Here are some examples of what your state may possibly be offering: A state income tax deduction or credit for contributions to the home-state 529 plan. Matching contributions from the state designed to assist and encourage low- and middle-income families to save for college using the stateï ¿ ½s 529 plan. A reduction or waiver of program fees and expenses. Special creditor protections as defined under state law. The ability to ï ¿ ½lock-inï ¿ ½ resident tuition rates at the stateï ¿ ½s public universities even if the child moves to another state. Be sure to look for any such benefits within your own state by using Savingforcollege.comï ¿ ½s 529 Plan Comparison Tool. All details and eligibility requirements will be detailed in the 529 planï ¿ ½s official program disclosure statement (PDS), which you should carefully read. Once you understand what your state has to offer, feel free to shop among other statesï ¿ ½ plans, realizing that you may be giving up some state-level benefits by investing your college-savings dollars elsewhere. {page_break} Here are some of the key factors to consider when comparing different plans: Investment quality. Look at the investment options offered by the 529 plan. Most plans offer two categories of options: ï ¿ ½Staticï ¿ ½ options are portfolios that invest in a blend of funds to achieve a specific target mix of stocks, bonds, etc. that stays fixed, and those that have only one underlying mutual fund. ï ¿ ½Age-basedï ¿ ½ options are portfolios that automatically shift to a more conservative mix of stocks, bonds, and money market funds as your child gets older and closer to college age. Remember: even if the plan offers 20 investment options, you will probably be using just one of those options. Identify the option that best meets your own investment objectives. Then study the underlying investments used for that particular investment portfolio. Are you comfortable with the investment managers (i.e. fund companies) for the underlying securities? Is the portfolio properly diversified? Has it performed well? You can research the investment details, including past performance, in the planï ¿ ½s official disclosure statement and on its website. Costs. 529 plans will have different expense ratios due to differences in (1) the underlying securities within their investment portfolios and (2) the fees charged against the plan for program management and administration. Over the years, expense ratios have dropped dramatically in most 529 college savings plans. Many states have turned to indexed mutual funds and exchange-traded funds that offer lower costs than ï ¿ ½actively-managedï ¿ ½ funds. In addition, states have pared their management and administrative fees as their plans grew larger and the 529 marketplace became more competitive. Still, the state you live in may not be as price-competitive as most. Once you decide which type of investment portfolio you want, check similar options in other statesï ¿ ½ plans to determine how their costs compare. Another cost item to consider is the annual account maintenance fee charged by some 529 plans. Although the amount may not seem like a lotï ¿ ½typically $25 or less each yearï ¿ ½many states have eliminated their account maintenance fees, or at least waive the fee for state residents. Flexibility. Some 529 plans have rules that are more restrictive than what the federal government requires in its tax regulations. For example, there may be rules that limit your options when withdrawing funds from your 529 plan; or that prevent you from transferring ownership of your account to someone else; or that make it more difficult than necessary to roll over your account to another 529 plan. Carefully read the official program disclosure statement for the 529 plan you intend to use prior to opening your account. Program strength. When it comes to choosing a 529 plan, millions of American families have ï ¿ ½voted with their dollars.ï ¿ ½ If a 529 plan has attracted a lot of contributions, there are probably good reasons. A 529 plan that has been in place for several years, but has not been successful in attracting new accounts, may not have the ability to reduce costs or expand its investment lineup without undergoing major changes, such as the replacement of its program manager. Using multiple 529 plans. You are not restricted to using just one 529 plan. Some parents feel it makes sense to use multiple plans for the same beneficiary. The most common scenario is when a family wishes to take maximum advantage of an in-state tax benefit by using the in-state 529 plan. Since most states cap the amount of the benefit, the family may have additional dollars that they place in a different stateï ¿ ½s 529 plan that has more attractive investment, cost, or flexibility features. Henry David Thoreaus Sociological Experimentation in...

In Henry David Thoreau’s writings, he explores a different, more thoughtful way of life. Thoreau was a student of Ralph Waldo Emerson. Emerson gave Thoreau the property on Walden Pond in Concord, Massachusetts; where Thoreau spent about two years living away from the society. Thoreau’s social experimentation required him to separate himself from the society, to be an individual, and to learn from his experiences. Henry David Thoreau was given a piece of property on Walden Pond by Emerson. Even though it was against Emerson’s beliefs; Thoreau separated himself from society by moving to the property on Walden Pond. This action was an experiment of self reliance; not an escape from society. Thoreau was arrested for not paying his taxes.†¦show more content†¦Thoreau reflects on his beliefs on how the government was immoral towards him and his separation from society; â€Å"I simply wish to refuse allegiance to the State, to withdraw and stand aloof from it effectually.† (â€Å"Civil Disobedience†, 101) Thoreau’s separation from society also results him being an individual. He learns to live and succeed by himself, without the influences from others. â€Å"A common and natural result of an undue respect for the law is, that you may see a file of soldiers.....marching in admirable order over hill and dale to the wars, against their wills, ay, against their common sense and consciences...† (â€Å"Civil Disobedience†,94) As an example, he feels as if soldiers have been influenced by the government and community. They go against their opinion by taking the government to a point that is too far. Therefore the soldiers’ individualism is being taken away. Thoreau believes in the importance of one’s self and that the government takes the individuality away from people. Another thought he has is that, material items make one’s life have a lower quality and weakening their character. A person needs to build up their inner self; soul and mind. To build up their inner soul they need to; be solitary, reflect of their thoughts, and immerse themselves in nature. The government and society take away from a person from being who they are by influential actions. In Thoreau’s mind, he views life experience as the way to learn. Thoreau believes that

Manipulating Antioxidant Intake in Asthma

Question: Discuss about the Manipulating Antioxidant Intake in Asthma. Answer: Introduction: Agree. Diet plays an important role in the management of asthma and it has to be modified to decrease the risk of asthma- exacerbations. National-Asthma Council-Australia (2016) has stated that nutrition presents as a vital conditioning factor in various illnesses especially asthma. They hypothesized that some constituents of diet seems to increase or decrease exacerbations. The nurses are indented to provide a patient- centered care depending on their individual needs as well as understanding their preferences, values with beliefs (including dietary aspects). A nurse has to develop a framework for identifying, solving, evaluating the problem (nutrition) and improving the practice (Brown, 2015).Hence, nurses have to identify the triggering factors in certain diets that could lead to asthma exacerbations and plan accordingly. Various studies suggest that unsaturated fats could treat allergies and decrease asthma exacerbation. There are two types of poly-unsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) as omega-3 PUFAs which is present in animals and fishes and omega-6 PUFAs that is present in plants (sun-flower, olive canola oil) (Weichselbaum, 2013). Un-saturated fats are essential for reducing the inflammatory as well as severity of asthma. Fish oil is rich in omega-3 PUFAs especially ei-cosapentaenoic as well as do-cosahexaenoic acid that protects the asthmatic patients from inflammation and exacerbation. A study conducted by Weichselbaum (2013) suggests that increased intake ofomega-3 PUFAs has reduced the risk for asthmatic features in children and adults. When fish oils are consumed by pregnant, lactating and early-postnatal mothers with asthma, it is found to have improved their respiratory function (DAuria, 2014). Intake of omega-3 PUFAs with vitamin-D and folic acid at the time of pregnancy has showed to promote fetal development and neonatal immune-modulatory efficiency with reduction of allergic diseases. Breast milk helps to reduce the risk for getting asthma in children as it contains airborne-antigens, IgA, tolerogenic factors, etc that alters the immune- responses to allergens. According to Lisa (2012), antioxidants as vitamin- C, E with selenium are observed to prevent oxidative injury that in-turn reduces inflammation triggered by an allergen. Supplementation of Vitamin- C in diet has shown to reduce the severity and frequency of asthma and exercise-induced broncho-spasm. At-least an increase in intake of 100mg of Vitamin-C per day is found to increase 10-50 ml of forced expiratory-volume in 1 second and hence vitamin-C act as a preventer of asthma exacerbation. Selenium acts as a co-factor for the synthesis of anti-oxidant enzyme (glutathione peroxidase) that is required for counter-oxidation as well as to decrease the synthesis of leukoritine-B (inflammatory mediator), thus reducing exacerbations. According to Health-Direct Australia (2013), various types of fibre from different plants has to be consumed to prevent exacerbations. In Australia, a man is recommended to consume 30g of dietary fibre/day and a woman to take 25g/day. A study conducted by Smith (2015) concluded that a high-fibre diet is found to change gut bacteria of expectant mothers that might prevent the development of asthmatic symptoms in fetus. The nurses should conduct a dietary assessment and work along with dieticians to prepare an individualized menu plan by considering the foods that could prevent and reduce asthma exacerbation. A nurse has to educate the asthmatic patients about the importance of diet modification to prevent complications. Reference Brown, D et al. (2015). Night Essays (446 words) - The Holocaust, Literature,

Night Night By Elie Wiesel In Elie Wiesels Night, he recounts his horrifying experiences as a Jewish boy under Nazi control. His word are strong and his message clear. Wiesel uses themes such as hunger and death to vividly display his days during World War II. Wiesels main purpose is to describe to the reader the horrifying scenes and feelings he suffered through as a repressed Jew. His tone and diction are powerful for this subject and envelope the reader. Young readers today find the actions of Nazis almost unimaginable. This book more than sufficiently portrays the era in the words of a victim himself. Wiesel appeals to logos, ethos, and pathos in Night. The readers logic is not so much directly appealed to, but indirectly the description of the events causes the reader to think and wonder how they actually took place. Logically, how were the horrifying events in World War II carried out? How could such tragedies have happened in the twentieth century? Wiesel appeals to ethos for the obvious reasons. The book is a memoir of his life as a Jewish person during World War II. He is a qualified author for this subject. Often, the reader can forget that the story is an autobiography. The appeal to emotion is the strongest by far. It seems almost impossible for a reader not to cry at the words of Wiesel. Elie paints a portrait of life in the camp, which included hours of back-breaking labor, fear of hangings, and an overall theme throughout the book: starvation. His vivid description of a child being hanged, how he was still alive, struggling between life and death, dying in slow agony under our eyes, truly captures the ghastly occurrences of the death camp. His own discussion of how he had lost faith in a God, and how other sons were leaving or even beating their fathers with no care enlightens the reader to the true despair that surrounded the people that inhabited these camps. Also, his description of himself in a mirror as a corpse that gazed back at me installs in the reader the overwhelming sense of how this event so completely ravaged the human soul. This book was effective and achieved the purpose of describing the Holocaust in a personal and relative manner. I do not think anyone who reads this book does not finish it with a better understanding of what the victims of concentration camps experienced. This book provides dramatic and tearful accounts of what happened in our world just a little over fifty years ago. This story provides a lesson that no history book ever can. Book Reports

Chopin Kate essays

Chopin Kate essays Kate Chopins Symbolic Use of Nature Kate Chopin uses nature and symbolism throughout her three short stories. Her vivid use of nature and its elements allow the reader to get a realistic view of the characters and their setting. By using nature to represent the feelings of her characters, Chopin allows the reader to evoke emotions they might have felt during similar times or situations. A simple example of symbolism would be the use a dark forest in a story. The dark forest could possible represent evil or confusion (1380). Like the example Chopin uses a specific season like spring or naturally occurring thunderstorms to symbolize new life or uncontrollable passion. In the first story the reader encounters Babette and Maman-Nainaine. Quickly the reader learns that Babette is waiting for the figs to ripen before she is allowed to visit her cousins. Figs have little if nothing to do with Babette being able to leave, but instead they symbolize her coming of age. Figs tend to ripen in late spring to early summer. Spring and summer are times of life and growth. So Babette is like a ripening fig that has to grow and mature before its ready. Finally when the figs ripen Maman-Nainaine says, How early the figs have ripened this year!(4) Babettes response is I think they have ripened very late(4). Babette is trying to say to Maman that she is mature and that she has been for quite some time. On the other hand Maman is telling Babette that she has ripened into a young lady very quickly. Chopins use of symbolism in this story is easy for most readers to relate to because we have all been in a situation similar to Babettes at one time. Eventuall y we all ripen as Babette does in Chopins use of spring carries over to The Story of an Hour. The reader fins the fragile Mrs. Mallard coming to the realization that her husband is dead. Introduction Bloomberg provides the financial world with news, analytics, and financial data through several indices. After reviewing goldmines of financial data, investors must ultimately choose where to spend. Consistency during periods of recession is a string indicator of the health of most funds. Implementation of sustainability programs exist to ensure the long run succe ss of the operations. This is considered true by Fiksel in his study of the strategies employed by top international corporations to attain superior business performance (Fiksel, 1999). According to Alan Brache, 9 variables affect strategy: knowledge management, human capabilities, organizational structure, business processes, issue resolution, culture, leadership and progress (Brache, 2008). Since shareholders know only what is reported to them, concerns about how the business should operate are written. The shareholders assume the agency is operating according to the specifications of the business relationship. When this is not the case, agency costs arise. United States government regulation of stock trading by the SEC is a preventive measure in an industry plagued with fraud. Only the strong survive in the bull and bear markets. Investors must acknowledge the proper protocol of investing which consists of due diligence and research before making investments. In the context of in vesting, due diligence is defined as ‘the process by which a potential investor obtains a sufficient understanding of a business to enable him to take an informed decision on investing in that business’ (Business Week, 2012). Beyond the recession from 2007 to 2009, the saga of financial turmoil for agencies in the United Kingdom continued. On April 20, 2010, an explosion in the Gulf of Mexico released British Petroleum (BP) oil all over the Gulf of Mexico. The incident made history as the largest accidental oil spill (New York Times, 2012). Enterprise Risk Management Risk is a reality that exists in every aspect of business. Risk velocity is the rate of speed that the risk can appear and begin to develop (Steinberg, 2011). The risk appetite represents the amount of risk the company can afford to accept. Risk velocity must constantly be offset. Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) affect the speed with which risk management can control risk issues (Steinberg, 2010). The fundamenta l concepts of ERM work together to strategize against risk through objectives. Prevention is of major focus. Setting objectives and following through is the first strategy. The following lists key ERM fundamental concepts (Flaherty, 2004): An on-going process Effects every level of the organization Applied in strategy setting at every level of the organization. Gay Marriage Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 2000 words

Gay Marriage - Essay Example This issue aside from many others makes gay marriages a typical subject of debate. In order to determine whether it is best to legalize gay marriages within the United States or not, it is necessary to define the real meaning of matrimonial marriage in the United States aside from examining and analyzing the issue on human rights, the different point-of-views coming from different significant sectors such as religion, politics, and the social welfare as well as the actual experiences of other countries that has already legalized the same sex marriage in the past. By weighing the pros and cons of legalizing gay marriages all over the United States, the researcher will easily make a conclusion as to whether it is necessary to permit gay marriages in the country. Based on the U.S. Code, the true meaning of a traditional marriage is â€Å"a legal binding of a man and a woman as husband and wife wherein ‘spouse’ refers to the person of the opposite sex as either the husband or the wife.† (U.S. Code Collection -  § 7. Definition of â€Å"marriage† and â€Å"spouse†, 2008) Similar to the definition provided in the U.S. code, the Catechism of the Catholic Church (1603) states that â€Å"the vocation to marriage is written in the very nature of man and woman as they came from the hand of the Creator.† (Wiker, 2008) ‘Human rights’ are all about the basic rights and freedom of all humans wherein ‘human rights’ is not limited to the freedom of expression and speech but also includes the issue on social rights and justice particularly on gender equality. Most people just believe that equal rights should be for everyone and not a gender-biased. According to Lorri L. Jean (2007) – the chief executive of the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center, gays and lesbians are also humans who deserve an equal right and treatment from other people. Aside from the basic human needs, gays and lesbians also has the right to decide on whether they want to raise their

Using Structure,Outcome, and Process in Evaluating Quality Medical Care Essay Example for Free

Using Structure,Outcome, and Process in Evaluating Quality Medical Care Essay Abstract   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   Structure, process, and outcome are the common indicators used in evaluating the quality of medical care.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   This paper will delve on the meaning of structure, process, and outcome indicators as they relate to the assessment of quality medical care. Using Structure,Outcome, and Process in Evaluating Quality Medical Care   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   Healthcare personnel and medical facilities are constantly demanded to provide a report about the outcome of their admission of treatment. Governments get in touch with hospitals to provide an accounting of their results so that they could come up with new health care structure, as well as to serve as a back-up for the establishment of new regulations in medical systems. Insurance companies show greater interest in the outcome of medical treatments in order that they can deliver cost-effective care and benchmarking (Van der Ent, 6-7). Providing quality assessment of medical care is important because financial departments of health care providers usually it helps them come up with an affordable price in terms of medical care. Newspapers and magazines usually compare the performance of hospitals as far as the safety and satisfaction of their patients are concerned. For patients, they have the right to be informed about which facility or doctor provides quality medical care (Van der Ent, 6-7). At present, there are various systems in place used in assessing the quality of medical care. In the United Kingdom, for example, the salary of general practitioners are based on how they performed in the Quality and Outcomes Framework 1. In order to be successful, the hospital or medical facility should establish a set of indicators (Van der Ent, 6-7). Structure, Process, and Outcome As Indicators Of Quality Medical Care   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   The structure of the medical care serves as the background in the delivery of medical care to the patient. In administering cystic fibrosis, does the delivery of quality medical care involve other practitioners such as a pulmonist, physiotherapist, dietician, and social worker? (Van der Ent, 6-7)   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   Process indicators, on the other hand, has something to do with how medical care is organized. This means that every procedure requires protocols and guidelines. For example, what is the usual protocol in measuring lung function? How are patients infected by staphylococcus aureus segregated from other patients? (Van der Ent, 6-7)   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   Outcome indicators, meanwhile, is concerned with the result of medical care. It has something to do with statistics such as mortality rate, percentage of complications, number of patients who recover, and so on. The outcome of medical care usually helps in the determining whether care is insufficient as well as in pointing out the reason for the failure of medical care. In most healthcare systems, the basic requirement are the structure and process indicator instead of the outcome(Van der Ent, 6-7). The Advantage of Using Outcome In Assessing Quality Medical Care   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   The outcome of medical care is most often used as the indicator of quality health care. Its reliability as a determinant of quality care cannot be doubted. Aside from that, it more or less provides an accurate assessment of medical care (Donabien, 691-729).   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   However, there are some factors that limits the use of outcomes as an indicator of quality medical care. One of these factors is whether or not the outcome is indeed the relevant indicator. There are instances when outcomes becomes irrelevant especially in cases when the survival of the patient will not be critical but will cause them to be paralyzed or bring about serious complications (Donabien, 691-729). Lord Of The Flies Passage Anal :: essays research papers

Golding uses chapter eight to show the changes within Ralph and Piggy. The experience on the island has caused them to mature early, and Golding develops this maturity in order to provide the reader with a believable story and memorable characters. He develops the characters through vivid details, distinct diction, simple syntax, and congested figurative language. Golding uses detail to show Ralph’s change from a civil leader to a mindless savage. When Ralph sits and pokes holes in the sand, he is â€Å"surprised† to see blood. He examines his nail and is interested, not concerned, about the blood. He originally was disgusted at the site of blood. This act shows his savage-like fascination with blood. Piggy’s development is also dependent on Golding’s use of detail. Within this passage, Piggy wipes off his glasses twice. There is a sense of paranoia and urgency in this act. Piggy wishes to disconnect from reality and does not want to admit to himself or Ralph their desperate situation. Piggy was originally the voice of reason in the novel. This simple act, however, shows he is changing into an unadmitting fool because he chooses not to see reality due to fear.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  The use of diction is also vital to the development of the characters in Lord of the Flies. The passage opens with Ralph â€Å"smudging the sweat from his face with a dirty forearm.† This conveys to the reader an exhausted boy who is at wit’s end. The words â€Å"smudging,† â€Å"sweat,† and â€Å"dirty,† connote savagery, and they show Ralph’s animalistic characteristics coming out. He has changed from a polished, civilized boy to a dirty savage since the arrival on the island. Ralph also runs around the fire â€Å"holding up his hair† when he realizes that most of the boys have joined Jack. This reference to hair shows the savagery in Ralph, as opposed to his clean-cut original appearance.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Syntax is another technique used by Golding to further develop the characters. The frequent use of dashes, fragments, and simple sentences remind the reader that although they are encountering a very complex situation, the characters are still simple-minded children. It also shows the characters’ fragmented thoughts and fears. Originally, Ralph was a well-spoken leader, but in this passage, Golding shows he is a scared creature through syntax.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Figurative language is employed by Golding throughout the novel to develop plot and characters. In this passage, the most vivid figurative language is in the final paragraph.

Loyalty is just a tattoo

Having to realize that not everyone means what they say Is a hard Idea to fathom when you're someone who means everything they say. This past summer I found out my boyfriend had been cheating on me. To me this was the hardest news to swallow, to think the person you trusted with everything, who was your backbone and your shelter In midst of the storm was not only thinking about you and saying, â€Å"l love you† to only you but to someone else as well.Instantly my world turned upside down, I ad to face the reality of the news I had found out. He apologized of course and in the end decided that I was the best choice for him, he wanted to make things work and go forward in our relationship, but how do you begin to trust again? Where do you start? Is he sincere this time? So many questions running through my head so much hurt and pain still. From then on I have guarded my heart like the jewel it is and protected it from anyone's harm. This situation elicited the most change on me because never will I ever love the same.I take my life day by day now, planning a future with someone Is so cliche © too me. Had to realize that forever really is not forever and that relationships are day by day, anything could happen tomorrow. People change every day, they meet new faces all the time I feel as if someone finds a person who fits your spot in there life and who plays the role better will become your replacement and you will become nothing but a memory, to some people what means everything to them today can, become nothing to them tomorrow and that's just how some people are.Reminiscing on the days when I thought people waited till they were 21 to drink. Couples waited until they were married to have sex, people didn't do drugs. I thought you would always end up marrying your soul mate, I thought your friends were your friends and they would never leave your side, that everyone you said â€Å"I love you† too would say it back, and that your love story will e nd up like the movies. It's Just crazy how you grow up with all this love and hope in your heart and then you're thrown into what you think Is a twisted. KC and cold world but It's actually Just life and you Just have to live It. In my head I tell myself I'm still the same person I was a year ago but in all reality I'm not. This situation caused me to become more sensitive and more protective of myself more than anything. Never did I realize that a person could cause so much Inner pain and there was no cure, no David or Misspoken can fix this boo boo, but too face the reality of it all, and over time hoping to get better. My approach is sterner in dealing with certain situations, I feel as if people take me serious that they will knowI'm not the type to mess around with and will not play games. I quickly closed my heart and right now thinking about forever with someone Is Just put on the backbencher for now. Trusting someone has never been so hard until now. You never know what's go ing through the other persons mind and there honest intentions with 1 OFF be more to myself and not trust anybody but God. I Just play the role, and Just make it seem as if I'm okay but deep down inside I'm hurting everyday and I always ask myself what did I do wrong to make him want to cheat? Does he really love me?Does he deserve this second chance? It's eating at me all the time and I Just want the truth but no one seems to know the answer. That to me is what is affecting me the most. That causes me to zone out, get distracted, cry at night, ignore and push away anybody who tries to get to know me. I'm not sure how long will I be hurt or when I will find closure to my situation but it this has had the biggest impact on me this summer. The scariest thing about loyalty is that everyone has their own definition of it. When I thought of my boyfriend I thought he was the most loyal of them all.I thought he would be different from the rest and that he could prove to me that all guys we re not the same. When he said he loved me I believed it, when he said he had my back I believed it, when he said he was loyal to me and only me I believed it but when all these emotions that I thought were so pure turned out to have flaws. I had begun to think maybe he was not lying and that he was exhibiting his own definition of love, compassion and loyalty or maybe he had been hurt before and his heart is guarded ND never realized instead of being the heartbroken became the heartbreak. Then I try to analyze the situation like I do all situations but still till this day I cannot come up to a conclusion as to why†¦ He would do that and maybe I will never know the real reason or never will I know the whole truth but for now I have to face the reality of it and in hopes to move on and be able to love again someday. The reality of it all is that not everybody means what they say, everyone has their own definition of love and that forever does not exist in this love story.
